Hello, my name is Adriannea, a girl from the suburbs south of Atlanta, Georgia. In shorter words, I’m a proud Georgia peach that loves to travel.
After choosing to venture out of my comfort zone, I chose to attend college in Santa Barbara, California, which I call my second home. During this time, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Kaikoura, New Zealand, which as you can guess…became my third home. I learned the importance of emerging myself in the culture and as they say “living as the natives do”.
An offspring of two airline employees, the passion for traveling runs in my blood. From my experience of flying on standby (non-rev) nearly my entire life, I have plenty of travel tips and experiences to share with you. I want to get rid of the assumption that traveling has to be expensive and help more people remember travel is a necessity, not a luxury. I want to be an inspiration to others to get out of their comfort zones and to go travel to that dream place that has been on their list for years. Standby with Adrie is about inspiring people to see the world, finding their true selves along the way, and being free.
