As a result of the COVID pandemic, we have all lost time that we could’ve used experiencing new places. Many are wondering where they should go after the pandemic passes and quarantine is over. I know we are itching to travel, so I wanted to create this list to inspire your post quarantine travels. On this list are places that I have visited or aspire to visit! Here is my list of destinations that should be on your post quarantine travel bucket list.
1. Aruba
Enjoy some beautiful beaches and tasty cuisine while visiting Aruba. This country is well known for its Flamingo beach, which is on a small private island part of the Renaissance Hotel in Aruba.
Aruba is home to the world’s oldest aloe company. There is also a complimentary tour of an aloe museum in Hato, where you’ll learn why Aruba’s heritage was once known as the “Island of Aloes”.
2. Greece
Greece is home to many beautiful islands like Mykonos, Santorini, Rodas, Zante and many more! Enjoy the famous sunsets and delicious food. Athens also has the most famous museum in the classical history of Greece. There is no better place to learn about the Greek Gods!
3. Italy
Italy is the fifth most visited country in the world. Visit Rome, Sicily, the Amalfi coast, or the many other cities that have breathtaking views. Enjoy a gondola ride or head to visit the notable monuments!
4. Puerto Rico
With its tropical landscape and white sanded beaches, Puerto Rico has a lot to offer! Puerto Ricos is full of beautiful culture, history, and art. The nightlife here is also very lively, and you certainly will not get bored when you take a trip here.
5. Bali
Who doesn’t want to have a floating breakfast in a pool and have a flower bath? Bali has many popular tourist destinations like the Handara Golf Course Gate, Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, and the Bali Swing.
Did you know there is a Bamboo Chocolate Factory? It is housed in the world’s largest commercial bamboo factory! You won’t regret visiting Bali and witnessing the natural beauty.
6. London
London is famous for its art, in addition to architecture, food, and fashion. It also has several free museums to visit to dive into British history. Sunday lunches are main events, so you will defiantly enjoy diverse and flavorful food!
7. Cappadocia
Cappadocia is one of the most underrated cities in Turkey. During your visit here, enjoy stunning views of hot air balloons flying in the sky.
Cappadocia’s landscape if from volcanic erosion, which gives the scene a unique feeling. Many tourists enjoy checking out the cave hotels and underground tunnels, as well as several scenic hikes around the town.
8.Costa Rica
If Costa Rica is not on your list of places to visit, you must put it on there! This country is beautiful from the views, to the people, the culture, and the food. See the highlights from my incredible trip here.
There is a lot to do in this country, such as making your own chocolate, visiting waterfalls, or zip-lining through the jungle. The local people are very kind and hospitable. Read my guide on Costa Rica to find out what else this country has to offer,
9.Marrakech
Marrakech, Morocco, is surrounded by deserts and mountains, making it easy to discover different landscapes. Tourists can visit this city year-round, as it has 300 days of sunshine throughout the years with mild winters and hot summers.
This city is also known for its luxurious services, such as five-star restaurants, luxury spas, Hammans, and traditional riads. From art and music, to the city’s historic buildings, there is plenty to occupy your time in Marrakech.
10. Iceland
Iceland is famous for being able to see the Northern Lights. Another popular tourist attraction here is the Blue Lagoon. While visiting, explore volcanoes, glaciers, hot springs, and black beaches. Many people enjoy skiing and winter whale watching when they visit. If you would like a glimpse into the scenery of Iceland, I recommend watching the movie “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.”
